Dear God,

Thank you for givng me my life. Thank you for making everything in my life such a blessing.

I am always so grateful for the wonderful parents you have given me. May they also live in happiness because they deserve it so much. They have raised my sisters & me in the right way. They have guided us to be the best that we could ever be. Whoever i am right now, I believe it is because of their upbringing. Bless them. Keep them. Love them.

Thank you for my two sisters, Pin & Princess. They have been my best buddies. Right now, i miss them so much. Please watch over them for me because even though we are apart I still want them to know that I want to protect them.

Thank you for my husband, the most perfect gift ever. Thank you for my two beautiful babies, Isaiah & Praise. These people mirror how much you love me. They are my most treasured possession. They bring joy to my life. I am ever so thankful that you brought them to me.

40 year old virgin?

October 12th, 2005 by joanne-m-tan-md

This movie was hilarious… amazingly funny… but my question is:

Is there such a thing as a 40 year old virgin?

Especially in the male population? I maybe biased.I don’t know, I’m just kinda curious. Nowadays, people even at a young age seem to be so incomplete without "THAT" experience in their lives. So how true is this movie? Someone really has to enlighten me on this subject… Naive? Maybe.

CROSSROADS

October 2nd, 2005 by joanne-m-tan-md

In twelve days, my EM residency days will be over. After which, I stand at the Crossroads. Where to go or what to do…. i really do not know. Many people keep pushing me to go abraod, australia…canada…new zealand…us; but this options seems so hard to do. I love the philippines…i know that there is more to this country than what we all know. I believe that I have much more opputunities here than in any other country. My career can flourish here….but it seems that it is only i who believe in this….

If i stay to work here…where would I specifically go? Having a family makes the decision even harder. There’s an opening in batangas which gives a good salary but it’s too far for me. I want to be near my husband and kids.

Would I apply for a hospital position or a clinic position? would i go on 24hours duty or 12 hours duty? I have so many questions…

think…think…think…

i’ll really have to pray about this first….I need guidance for my career’s future…somehow i want to make a difference… do something extrordinary…
